Our Story — Told With a Little Love & A Lot of Heart
The Gar Hole wasn’t born in a fancy design studio — it was born on the “other side” of our business, in a space that was begging for a second chance. One day we looked at that unused side and said, “You know… this could be something special.” And that was it — the spark.
What followed was a whole lot of elbow grease, late‑night painting sessions, mismatched tools, and more “oops, try that again” moments than we can count. But we laughed through it, loved through it, and slowly watched this little apartment turn into a place that just feels good.
We poured our hearts into every corner. Not because we had to — but because we wanted to create a cozy, happy spot where people could come enjoy Lake Wappapello the way we do. We love this lake. We love the fishing. We love the quiet mornings and the “just one more cast” evenings. And we wanted to share that joy without breaking anyone’s wallet.
